His own answer is "I AM THAT I AM" (Exodus 3:14). He is so powerful and magnificent that He actually has many names, yet he is one God (that is explained in the above subject "GOD"). God created the universe and then mankind. Adam and Eve had children, and their offspring went out into the world to populate it as God had instructed. And mankind, not being perfect as God is, chose to worship God by different methods and teachings.
Abraham became the father of the Jews. And God chose Israel as His 'chosen nation'
Abraham's son, Ishmael, became the father of the Moslems.
And then other beliefs and religions came, but the great "I AM" has never changed.

Believe - This is a hard subject to teach. Because of all your past experiences, training, and background, you are conditioned to believe in what you can see, prove or base it on what you know. But God is supernatural. He is a Spirit Being. He invented Physics. To Him, walking on water, feeding 5000 people on a few loaves of bread, raising someone from the dead and other acts are very possible. But to humans, we don't want to believe something we can't understand or see. Yet God's word says to believe, and we can have what we say. And the first thing we do is say, " how can that be? " God's word says that if we will believe, we will have what we say.
So, when our head doubts what God says to do, we must force ourselves to believe it in our heart. Another reason this is a hard subject to teach is that if also requires faith, trust, and obedience. The scripture says that if we will believe in our hearts, we can say to this mountain, be cast into the sea (Mark 11:23). And Romans 10:10 says that we must believe in our hearts for our righteousness. But as humans, we don't show the faith or trust to make it happen. Actually, we do the opposite. We say, "do what?" and our head tells us that we cannot do what was said to do. Our head will convince us that we cannot walk on water. But if God says we can do it, then we can. So until we can force ourselves to believe in our heart, we will fail. We are to listen to God and believe in our heart, not in our head. If we cannot truly trust God and do what he says, then how can he perform the act? The problem is not God; it is mankind not doing what we must do. Yet if God said it, you CAN do it. You must force yourself to believe it in your heart, act upon it, and not listen to your head.

Jesus answered and said unto them, You do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.The Bible is the 'Holy Scriptures', the Word of God - A very investing book that was written over many centuries, and yet gives its own proof that it is accurate. Early works tell of future events. Later works tell of earlier details. Many works tell of precise details that happened centuries later. The Bible also has codes that scientifically prove the many books to be authentic. For detailed info about these items, see Theomatics and Torah Codes. The Bible is the very nature of God. Not only did God speak the word into existence, be also came to the world in the flesh to put the word into practice. And he was called the word of God, and the word was God (John 1:1). Everything he did matched the Holy Scriptures (Bible). Anyone claiming to be "of God" and do not match, or follow the Holy Scriptures, is not "of God". God never changes, or lies. If His word says it, then it must be true. Anyone not following the word is not "of God". Having the scriptures protects us from anyone, or anything, not of God. If their actions do not match the scriptures, then stay away from them. Follow only those who follow the Holy Scriptures. But remember, the Holy Scriptures were given for YOU to follow. You are to study and know the scriptures. Then you will know when something does not match Gods nature. You cannot trust others when they say they follow God. You must know for yourself. You will give an account of yourself to God. Your answers must match the word of God. It will do no good to say that "so and so" said whatever. It is our responsibility to study the word of god. The Bible is your instruction book, from the Creator.

The 'Church' is not a building; it is the 'assembly of believers' no matter where they are. The 'Church' is the 'Bride of Christ'. We are His 'adornment''. We are to meet together, encourage each other, meet each others needs, collectively worship Him (as we each have different 'talents' to do so. 1st Corinthians 14:26). By meeting together, we can grow in the faith and learn from each other. Of special note is the faith building by hearing the word, and the testimonies of others as to what God is doing in people's lives.

Death - Although we do not want to die because we will leave friends and family behind, it will actually be a blessed event. Can someone really understand what it means? We think so, but just are not sure. Many people tell us what they think it means, but consider this;
Imagine for a moment that a reporter is interviewing a baby that will be born in one week. " I am here to see what you think about your new life next week". "Who are you, and why are you upside down". "I'm not upside down, you are". " I'm not upside down, I have been this way all my life, you are". "Well, next week when you are born, you will be upside down also". "I don't want to be upside down like you, and what do you mean, be 'born'?
"That's when you leave your mommy and enter a New World".
"Why do I have to leave here and enter a New World". "Because you can only stay here for a certain time, then you must go on. Besides, where you are going is a better place". "Why is it better"?"Because you can breathe air and eat solid food".
"But why do I have to eat, my mommy feeds me all day through this tube. And what is air"? "Well, when you are born, they will cut the tube so you and mommy are separate, then people will feed you. And air is what you will breathe". "If I don't breathe air now, how will I start breathing air then? And why do I have to be separate from my mommy"? "To breathe, the doctor will smack you on the rear and you will start to cry. A miracle will take place where you will start breathing air instead of water. And you have to be separate from mommy so that she can go places"."WHAT! Someone is going to HIT ME? I don't think I want to go to this new life. And if my mommy is going to leave me, then I am sure then I don't want to go to the next life".
"But you don't understand, it is a much better life". "Not from what you are telling me, everything is different. I like it here, mommy feeds me, keeps me warm and I can hear her heart beat and hear her sing. I think I will just stay here". "But you don't have any choice, it is going to happen, your time is up"."I don't understand, I like it here, and I don't want to leave".My friend, we do not fully understand the next life, but it IS coming. The Bible tells us that the next life is wonderful if we have accepted God and His son. And the next life will not be good if we have not accepted God and His son. The baby did not have a choice for his next life, but you and I DO have a choice for ours. Although we do not understand it, it is coming in due time.
Actually, when you accept God's Son (Jesus Christ) as your Saviour, your Eternal Life BEGINS at that moment, NOT when you die. Jesus died for your sins, and accepting Jesus as your Saviour clears you of ALL your sins. Then God gives you the gift of eternal life. And in the next life, you get a much better body, and you live forever. We can't explain it, but in God's Word He says;
-- 1 John 5:12 (NKJV). He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. {13} These things have I written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
-- John 3:16 (NKJV). For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
-- 1 Corinthians 15:42 - 44 says that our mortal human bodies will be given over to Spiritual (Supernatural) bodies and (Philippians 3:21) says He will change our dying puny bodies into a glorious body like His own.
A body like God's! It doesn't get any better than that.

Jesus came to Deliver us (Luke 4:18) from Judgement John 16:8. Also, Luke 4:18 goes on to say that Jesus came to deliver us from Ignorance, from Brokenheartedness, from Blindness, and from our Oppressors.
There is sooo much to say on this subject. Some suffer this problem for long periods of time. Some, almost never. Yet some experts say that almost everyone will go through it at least once in their life. Whatever your situation is, get help. There is a lot to say about it from God's point of view. Once you accept Jesus as the substitute for your sins, a miracle takes place. The Spirit of God replaces the old sinful self. That part of you IS new, brand new, not recycled or patched up, but brand new. He will reside inside the BODY you have, and you will still have the conscience, mentality and emotions you had before, but the REAL YOU, the spirit of LIFE is now from God, and will live forever. The old spirit that WAS within you, that was going to perish, has now been replaced. When your old BODY finally dies, the REAL YOU will go to be with Jesus, and at the resurrection, you will be given a NEW BODY that will never perish, but live forever, 1st Corinthians 15:52 & 53. We can't explain it, but in God's Word He says;

This is almost the very top of our requirements to be children of God. I cannot give you an accurate 'short summary' of this subject, nor can anyone. Actually it is simple, but because of our culture, it is hard to explain to the point that people can comprehend the teaching. You see, it not a 'subject', or a principle, or an idea; it is a way of life, a culture in itself. Let me say it this way, I could explain it, but it is a Spiritual part of out lives that require the proper use of Faith. Then the results will be the 'fruit of our use of faith'. And that fruit will be Spiritual also, and recognized by God. The problem is this. As carnal beings (humans), we have a hard time properly using Faith, to get the results from God (and our lives).
So, you need 'Spiritual teaching'. Normally it is NOT a quick subject to master, you humanness will fight you on this. But Jesus said you can do it. Try this then. Hopefully, your Bible has a concordance in the front or back of the book. If not, borrow one, or use one the Public Library has. Ask if any friends or Church people have a 'Strongs Concordance', it should have the MOST references of the Scriptures in the Bible about the subject of Faith.
Write down every reference for the word Faith. There will be a lot, so start with the ones in the 'New Testament'. Look up every scripture starting in the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Those are the Gospels, and Jesus does most of the teaching. Then continue on with the rest of the books and see how the Apostles explain it, and how they had to live out their Faith. You will be intrigued by the results they obtained, but your humanness will not want to practice the Faith as they did. This is the problem. If you cheat and don't do it Gods way, you will be cheated of the results you need. But if you do it Gods way (as recorded in the Bible), then you can have the Power over your life and circumstances you are looking for.
Many will tell you, you will have 'Peace'. Actually Jesus says 'Shalom'. The english translation of this falls short of the truth. It IS Peace, but also well being, prosperous, safe, happy, friendly, healthy, fare, with favor, restful, whole.
In summary, when you start using Faith properly, Jesus will reveal more of the subject to you. As you learn and practice His teaching, He will again reveal more of the subject. And that cycle will continue. If you learn, practice, and have fruit (results, Godly results), He will give you MORE teaching, and expect you to learn, practice, and have fruit. If you will do your part, He will do His part so that you can be closer to Him. If you should happen to die before becoming perfect, He will honor you for the Faith you lived by.

How many times are we to forgive others? When Jesus was asked this question, he replied "Seventy times seven" (per day). Matthew 18:22 There is no need to multiply the numbers. He was saying "Every time". We are to be forgiving because God is forgiving. He forgives us every time, should we do any less for others. He forgives us and then forgets our sin (if we repent). No matter how bad someone hurts us, we are to forgive them, totally and unconditionally.
The Greatest Commandment is in the 'New Testament' which is God's latest contract with mankind. It replaces the 10 Commandments. How can it? Because if you obey this commandment, you could NOT break any of the 10 Commandments. In Matthew 22:37 God said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind". And to be sure we humans don't misunderstand, he said, "Love your neighbor as much as you love yourself" (Matthew 22:39). That pretty well nails it down. You don't have to learn every doctrine or teaching of any church to ensure your success. Learn and practice these two decrees of God, and you will not sin against God and man.

Also, God forgives us for our many acts of disobedience to Him, and holds nothing against us. So we are to be forgiving to our fellow mankind, and allow God to deal with them.

You are already healed, by Jesus. Anything bad in your body is a 'manifestation of evil' from Satan, Jesus' enemy. That evil is from the 'Spiritual Realm'; and if you are a Christian, then you have power over the manifestation of evil (through Jesus Christ). Because it is a lie from Satan, what you (or the physician) sees in/on the body appears physical. But you MUST have Faith and believe Jesus. When Jesus healed, he spoke to the evil spirits controlling the manifestations of evil, they left and the people were healed. Here are just a few of the scriptures telling of this truth.
1 Peter 2 (21) For hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps: (22) who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: (23) who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: (24) who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
Mark 1 (34) And he (Jesus) healed many that were sick with divers diseases, and cast out many demons; and he suffered not the demons to speak, because they knew him.
Matthew 8 (14) And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother lying sick of a fever. (15) And he touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she arose, and ministered unto him. (16) And when even was come, they brought unto him many possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all that were sick:
Matthew 17 (18) And Jesus rebuked him; and the demon went out of him: and the boy was cured from that hour.
Luke 13 (32) And he (Jesus) said unto them, Go and say to that fox (Herod), Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures to-day and to-morrow, and the third day I am perfected.
There are many more scriptures attesting to this fact. But it wasn't just for Jesus to do, he passed it on to the disciples and US.
Mark 6 (7) And he (Jesus) calleth unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits; (13) And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
Mark 16 (17) And these signs shall accompany them that believe (that is you): in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; (18) they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Many times in the scripture Jesus talks about your Heart, and he's NOT talking about the vessel that pumps blood. It is your 'love center' for Him, Father God, mankind, truth, justice, mercy and all the attributes of God.
Luke 16 (15) And he said unto them, Ye are they that justify yourselves in the sight of men; but God knoweth your hearts for that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God. (Another Bible version says it this way, God knows the motivation of your heart.)
Luke 10 (25) And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and made trial of him (Jesus), saying, Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (27) And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.

If you study the Bible and look at the history of America, you will see that the world is peripheral to the Church, not the other way around. However, we are to obey the government, because it has been placed by God, and is actually a ministry of God (read Romans Chapter 13). But when the Government is out of control, and violates Gods Law, then we are to obey God. This was illustrated in Acts 5:29 "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men". They told this to the Supreme Court (the "High Council") when they tried to violate their free speech.

Salvation (means 'Born Again or 'Saved')
Salvation means to be saved from eternal damnation (Hell). With Salvation, you will have Eternal Life, and it begins when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Why Jesus Christ? Because mankind continually failed God in every opportunity He gave us to get right with Him. Jesus came and fulfilled every law of God, and was therefore considered worthy to be the price for mankind's return to God. John 3:16 states, "for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life". Also, 1st John 5:11,12 says that when you accept Jesus as Lord, you have eternal life. Not when you die, but the moment you dedicate your life to His kingdom, you will start living for ever and ever (you are 'Saved'). Your spirit will be born anew (born again). To make that commitment, there are three steps. Prayer of commitment, confession, and to live the new life with Him as Lord. You can make the following prayer yourself, or you can contact one of the 24 hour prayerlines to pray with you. They will usually set you up with a set of literature to help you get started, or point you to a church in your area. This is a very good idea, because a bible-believing local church will help you greatly as you start your new life.
But if for some reason you don't want to contact an organization, here is a prayer you can use to turn from sin to God's Kingdom, and have eternal life now;
Father in Heaven:
I am a sinner, and I repent of all my sin. Thank you for your love and for Jesus Christ who died for me. I now turn from my sin and accept Jesus Christ into my heart as my personal Saviour and the Lord of my life. In faith I am going to follow Him the rest of my days in this life. Thank you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Congratulations, verse 2nd Corinthians 5:17 says you are now a new creature inside. The Spirit of God has replaced the old sinful self. But because you have the same conscience, mentality and emotions, you will need others (who have accepted Jesus as Lord) to help you through the temptations that will now come your way. You need to find a good assembly of believers to help you with this.
Step two is to tell others of your confession to 'follow Jesus and make Him Lord of your life'. The new 'inner you' will be willing to do this. The old 'outer you' will NOT want to do it. But it is necessary for your salvation. How can anyone be 'special' to you if you are ashamed of him or her? (Romans 10:9 & 10, Matthew 10:32 & 33, Luke 12:8 & 9.) This is a changeover period where you must take a stand for what you have committed to.
The third step is to 'live the Christ centered life'. If you are sincere in your commitment to Him, He will bestow His blessings and protection upon you. Once you learn to hear God talk to you, you can be blessed. He will warn you of things to stay away from, encourage you to do things you feel inadequate to do (but He knows you CAN do), give you advance warning, inside information and other help that is His desire for you. He can help you with your health, finances, resources, abilities, knowledge, wisdom, and many other areas if you will allow Him. Trouble is, we want to understand why He does things His way. But mankind's knowledge is limited and His is perfect. Too many times, people don't obey God because they don't TRUST what He tells them, or they don't understand why He would have them do it His way. So, they do it their way (mankind's way) and it turns out wrong. Once you learn this lesson, put it into practice, and follow it, you will be blessed, blessed, blessed. (By the way, God wants you to be prosperous, not poor. A Christian's lifestyle in the world can help or hinder God's Kingdom. A car belching smoke, and with broken windows, that has a bumper sticker saying "I love Jesus" is a poor testimony to the world. God owns everything, and you are His heir. Jesus spoke often about money (and used it). The problem is NOT money and nice things; it is the love OF money AND possessions that is wrong. There is nothing wrong with nice possessions if they don't possess you. If you spend more time with your possessions than with God, you are worshipping possessions, not GOD. Use those possessions for God's Kingdom, they belong to Him anyway, He's just allowing you to use them. He gives you the money (by way of the world) to get them. Use the house for Bible studies, and shelter for those in need, the car for transportation for those in need, take someone to your health club (or golf course) to witness how God has helped in your life. Have the needy in to eat a meal with you so that you can tell them what God has done for you. The more you give out, the more you will receive back.
If you prayed the prayer above, the worst thing you can do is turning your back on God now. That's not a threat, He wants to BLESS you. But if you do not follow through on step three, you will short-change your life and miss blessings galore. Ephesians 3:17 to 21 are some scriptures you should read, and read and re-read. Read them a thousand times if you have to, until you finally accept what it says. Especially verse 20. He is telling us that HE LOVES US, that He wants to BLESS US, and that He wants to BLESS US far more than we would ever dare to ask or dream of, beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts or hopes (and the Amplified Bible adds 'dreams' to the list). The Bible does NOT say He wants us as poor as dirt. To the contrary, He says we are to be 'kings' and 'priests' in His Kingdom, Revelation 1:6. And in Deuteronomy 28:13, He says we are to be the Head' and not the 'Tail', we are to be 'Above' and not 'Below'. But these things are 'conditional'; we are blessed if we serve Him. Are you willing to be 'Blessed'? Are you willing to serve Him?

The body which came from the elements of the earth, and will return to the earth.
The Spirit which came from God, and will return to God.
The Soul which came from your parents/ancestors and God, but now belongs to you, the REAL you, your emotions, intellect, memory, etc. It is attached to your Spirit and it will go to God for His determination what to do with it. While on earth, your Soul no longer belongs to your kin, but to you and God, and you will have to answer to God how you took care of it, and the condition it is in. The popular phrase "the devil made me do it" will not be accepted by God. 1 John 4:4 says "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world". That verse is telling you that God in you is greater than the Devil (of this world). The devil doesn't MAKE you do ANYTHING; it is an untrained Soul that allows the body to sin. It is the Soul that makes the decision to obey or disobey God, parents, government, etc. You, your Soul will answer to God for where YOU will spend eternity. Using the Lords name in vain, accepting or rejecting Jesus, sinning; purposely, willfully, pre-meditated, etc. All these things God already knows, and you will answer for. Simple. Are you doing it for trophies, awards, etc.? Are you skipping Church to do it?
Or are you doing it to glorify God, and not neglecting family, work, and obligations?

Man was put in charge of the earth and the riches thereof (Gen. 1/26 & Psa. 8/6). God "shall open to you His good treasure", and that (His people) "shall lend to many nations, and not borrow". Plus, He made man to be "the head and not the tail", "above, and not below" (Deut. 28/12 & 13). God's will is for us to be successful & prosperous, but it is the evil forces in the world that steals your success and prosperity. The answers are in Gods Word, the Bible. You need to commit your life to God through Jesus, then study to word to unlock your power to overcome the evil and enjoy the success and prosperity. Why Jesus? Because Adam "sold-out" to satan, who then became the power broker of earth. But Jesus conquered the power of satan, reclaimed the position God intended for man, and that position, power and authority is available to ALL who accept Jesus as the Son of God. Not doing so keeps you under the power of satan, and all the battles will be your own. Accept Jesus as your "Lord and Saviour" and then your battles will be the Lords battles. You just turn them over to the Lord, and trust Him to handle them.
Right now, say out loud, "God, I'm sorry for messing up my life. I'm sorry for not obeying your will for mankind. I am sorry for my sins and I accept Jesus Christ as the person to turn my life around, to save me from my sins, and to return me to the position of power and authority that you want mankind to have on this earth. I accept Jesus as MY Lord and Saviour.
You know what, right now you are a "brand new person" and will live FOREVER. That's right, Eternal Life for YOU started right then, the moment you accepted Jesus as Lord of your life. Eternal Life DOES NOT begin when you die, it started those few moments ago when you accepted Him. Right now is the 'beginning of the rest of your life'. You have millions of years ahead of you, actually; Eternity, you shall never perish (You can't measure THAT in 'millions'). By the way, if you are afraid of 'death of the body', see the little story about the baby under the heading 'Death' at the top of the page. But first, there is one very important thing to do. To lock in your salvation, God's word says you must confess to others that Jesus is your Lord. Has a friend been 'nudging you' to accept Jesus? A co-worker, relative, street worker, anyone? You need to find two or three people to tell that you have accepted Jesus. That is the cement or glue that seals your relationship with God.
Then watch the blessings and power develop in YOUR LIFE. GOD WANTS YOU TO BE BLESSED. You don't have to give up all your friends, God will let you be His representative to them. But you DO need to seek Christian friends and a good church where you can get good answers, and to fellowship with Gods people so that you can learn and grow. (Remember, you are a baby now, you were just born into Gods kingdom a few moments ago.) Find a church THAT TEACHES THE BIBLE, ESPECIALLY THE NEW TESTAMENT. If a church doesn't give you scripture references for everything it teaches, find another church. There are many out there that MISS GOD BY TEACHING WHAT THEY THINK IS PROPER AND IMPORTANT. Only Gods Word (the Bible) is accurate, not ministers, not evangelists, no one else. If those people do not back up everything they say and teach with Gods word, DON'T listen to them and don't hang around with them.
Here are some organizations with good track records of serving God correctly (You may click on the underlined word to visit their Web Site). For men; Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International (has chapters in every state, many counties of every state, and in 136 countries around the world. They are known as FGBMFI, the initials. Also, Promise Keepers. A national organization that holds rallies and training in many areas. But you can find members in many cities to fellowship with, because their followers are in the millions.
A Ladies national organization that has served God quite well is; Women's Aglow. They too have chapters is every state, and membership is in the millions.
If you have trouble finding one of these organizations, ask another. Women's Aglow knows where FGBMFI and Promise Keeper members are. Usually, they are their husbands. If that is true, then FGBMFI and Promise Keeper's know where Women's Aglow members are, their wives.

Ah yes, works; the debate goes on. Some preach, "You MUST do WORKS". Others respond, "Wrong, we are under GRACE and FAITH, not works".
Well, if we were speaking of SALVATION, Grace and Faith would be a great point of discussion. But AFTER Salvation, we ARE to do 'works'. Hebrews says we ARE to have Faith, but WITH WORKS. The book of James says we are to do WORKS but WITH FAITH.
Hebrews 10:23: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
James 2:14: What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 17: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18: Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 20: But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
All of the above scriptures were written to 'brethren' (Christians, saved people).
So GRACE is a 'gift from God' for our Salvation, but after Salvation we are to exercise (use) our FAITH, and do Works. In the Old Testament, God would respond from Heaven to get things done. But in the New Testament (His new Covenant) He expects US to care for each other and do HIS good works. That is what the New Testament Scriptures are all about, telling us what to do, what not to do, and how to live.
